Alexander Forrence
Alex Forrence joined the BLAM lab as a research assistant in June 2015. He received his BA in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University in May 2014.
As an undergraduate, Alex studied the psychophysics of frequency perception in the auditory and somatosensory modalities in the labs of Xiaoqin Wang and Steve Hsiao, respectively. Additionally, he performed rat craniotomies and designed movement-tracking software in David Linden’s lab. He designed methods of screening for stroke as part of Team Aezon, a finalist in the Qualcomm Tricorder XPrize competition.
